Business rules

An asset can have multiple rules associated with it. Such rules can vary with the location of the uploader, the publishing platform that is being used or the location of an individual attempting to access the copy.
A content owner may have different rules for different sites or ISPs, in which case each entity would receive a different set of rules.

Business rules can consist of more complex and sophisticated recognition processes, some examples of such business rules and associated actions could be as follows:

1- On recognition of at least 60 seconds of an asset, stop its use

2- Asset is not playable in the United Kingdom until July xxth, 2010

3- In a mashup of multiple assets from the same series, if the total
time of all assets from the series totals 3 minutes, block its use
