How it works

Take the 7 steps and see how all Media services work together.

Step 1:  Creative works are fingerprinted from live broadcast streams or archived material and registered in Media Database

Step 2:
Business rules and metadata are assigned to each individual fingerprint

Step 3:
Uploaded content on the UGC website or P2P network that has installed the Mediahedge detector is fingerprinted and recognized.

Step 4:
Websites are crawled to search for specified media content and
fingerprints are generated from detected media content

Step 5: The generated fingerprints from the Media Recognition and/or Media Search service are compared with fingerprints from the central media database

Step 6: If there is no match: no action is taken (publish content). However, if there is a match, the business rules defined in the Media database are applied

Step 7: The use and redistribution of the media content is monitored and detailed reporting is received
